My life has basically been one long episode of “what now?” Every time I think things are finally calming down, life taps me on the shoulder like, “hey, watch this,” and throws something new at me just for fun. I swear half my personality is built from situations I didn’t sign up for.

I’ve dealt with people who act like they know me better than I know myself, people who think they’re the main character in my story, and people who disappear faster than my motivation on a Monday morning. And somehow, I’m still here, still dealing with it, still trying to make sense of whatever this whole thing is supposed to be.

I’ve had good moments too — usually the ones that come out of nowhere, like life accidentally gave me a break and then immediately regretted it. I’ve laughed at things I probably shouldn’t have, survived things I didn’t think I would, and learned that half the time the only thing you can do is shrug and keep moving.

I’m not pretending to be wise or inspirational. I’m just a human who’s been thrown around by life enough times to develop a sarcastic sense of humour and a “whatever, let’s go” attitude. I don’t have everything figured out, but honestly, who does? I’m just living, learning, messing up, fixing things, and trying again.

Life as I know it is messy, ridiculous, confusing, funny, annoying, and somehow still worth dealing with. And if it wants to throw something else at me, fine — I’ll roll my eyes, complain for a bit, and then handle it like I always do.
